Welcome to Giggl! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services. By using Giggl, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our services.
2. Services Provided
Giggl is a platform that connects freelancers ("Service Providers") with clients ("Clients") seeking services. We facilitate the connection between Service Providers and Clients but are not a party to any agreements between them.
3. User Accounts
To use our services, you must register for an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
- Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
- Keep your password confidential and secure.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or breach of security.
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use our services for any unlawful purpose.
- Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
- Interfere with or disrupt our services or servers or networks connected to our services.
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
5. Service Provider and Client Responsibilities
Service Providers agree to:
- Perform services in a professional and workmanlike manner.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintain any necessary licenses or certifications.
Clients agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about the services required.
- Pay for services rendered in accordance with the agreed terms.
6. Payment Terms
Payments for services are facilitated through our platform. Clients agree to pay for the services provided by Service Providers in accordance with the agreed-upon terms. Giggl may charge a service fee for the use of our platform, which will be clearly communicated to both Service Providers and Clients.
7. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute between a Service Provider and a Client, we encourage both parties to resolve the issue amicably. If a resolution cannot be reached, you may contact us for assistance. However, Giggl is not responsible for resolving disputes and does not guarantee a resolution.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Giggl shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
- Your use or inability to use our services.
- Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein.
- Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from our services.
- Any bugs, viruses, Trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through our services by any third party.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Giggl, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including, without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of our services or your violation of these Terms.
10. Modifications to Terms
Giggl reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on our website and updating the effective date. Your continued use of our services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

13. Referral Program
- Eligibility
- The Giggl Referral Program is open to all registered users of the platform. To participate, you must share your unique referral code or link provided in your profile.
- Referral Rewards
- Rewards are earned when a referred user completes their first gig with a total value (single or cumulative bookings) meeting the minimum amount specified on our website at the time of completion. Referral bonuses are credited only after the referred gig is completed and payment is successfully processed.
- Program Updates
- The minimum qualifying amount and other terms of the referral program may change at Giggl’s discretion. Any changes will be communicated via updates to these Terms and reflected on our website. Continued participation in the referral program after such updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
- Prohibited Conduct
- Referrers may not engage in deceptive practices, including but not limited to:
- Self-referrals (creating multiple accounts to earn rewards).
- Spamming or sharing referral codes in an unauthorized or unethical manner.
- Misrepresenting the terms of the referral program.
- Modification and Termination
Giggl reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Referral Program at any time without prior notice. In such cases, earned rewards will still be honored if all qualifying criteria are met prior to the changes.
- No Transferability
Referral bonuses are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash outside the platform.
- Liability
Giggl shall not be responsible for any losses or damages arising from participation in the Referral Program, including, but not limited to, lost referral rewards due to technical issues or program modifications.
